June 16th • Ages 3-6 • Fine Arts Lessons • Mondrian's Rectangles
In this class, we will create our own watercolor paintings inspired by the Abstract Artist, Piet Mondrian. We will learn about his style, cubism mixed with "neo-plasticism." We will look at his most famous paintings including, Composition with Red, Yellow and Blue. It is completely composed of primary colored rectangles and a grid of black lines. For our project, we will only be using primary colors and a black oil pastel crayon for a nice resist with washable liquid watercolor paints.
Time: 12-1 PM
Ages: 3-6 Years
A parent/guardian must be present for class. Due to limited seating, only 1 adult per child is allowed.
Experience: Beginners.
